Why Mood Boards are my favorite deliverable (so far)

Hey everyone!
Today we're talking about mood boards. I am working on a wix site for a client and I created a mood board for them yesterday. I'm using the mood boards as a general guide for the theme of the website.
So, for the different parts of the mood board, I included: A color palette, a couple potential shop names in different fonts I thought would go well with the colors, two backgrounds that went with the theme and colors, and a few elements we could enhance the page with. Lastly I included a mock up of a buy now button to see how it would look with the potential backgrounds.
I emphasized to the client that the mood board was for direction and they loved how it was coming together.
This is why I am beginning to LOVE mood boards! They are a great way to see the vision without having to have every single piece and page figured out. I also like them as a way to look back while completing the project to make sure everything is cohesive.
As a client or as a fellow Marketing Consultant, what's your favorite part of the process so far? Copy/content writing, email marketing, or perhaps something else?
Let me know in the comments and have a great day!
Thank you
Crystal

The mood board sounds like an excellent way to find what you're looking for, using your preferences, colors, etc. Thank you Crystal!
